Hylonomus (hai-LON-oh-muss) is considered by many paleontologists to be the first official reptile! It lived during the Late Carboniferous era, approximately 314 million years ago. It was a small animal, around 20 centimeters in length. It was one of the first animals to produce amniotic eggs, making it one of our (very distant) ancestors, too! The primer that was inspired by this special ancient animal is pretty special too! Slippy AND a little bit grippy, this satin primer glides on smooooth as silk, reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores. It’s packed with helpful ingredients like hyaluronic acid for deep, all day hydration; niacinimide for pigmentation and pore control, and the star of the show: squalane oil.
